These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of LNATpractice (the “Service”), an online platform for preparing for the National Admissions Test for Law. By creating an account, using a guest session, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Please read these Terms alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
Independence disclaimer
LNATpractice is an independent exam-preparation platform. We are not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the LNAT Consortium, the LNAT, Pearson VUE, or any university, college, or admissions body.
The term “LNAT” and any references to specific institutions are used only descriptively, to identify the examination that you are preparing for. All trademarks and names remain the property of their respective owners. Our practice passages, questions, and materials are original works created by LNATpractice and are not past papers or official test content.
Accounts and account use
You may use the Service through a lightweight guest account, which lets you save progress before registering, or through a full registered account. A guest account can be upgraded to a registered account at any time so your existing progress is preserved.
- Each account is for a single person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or login credentials to anyone else.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
- You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
You must be old enough to use the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
Subscriptions and billing
LNATpractice offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The Free plan gives you access to a limited set of features and content. The Pro plan unlocks the full question bank, mocks, and AI essay feedback. Available plans and current prices are shown inside the authenticated account area.
- Pro subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, using the billing cycle you select at checkout.
- Unless cancelled, a Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and the applicable fee is charged to your payment method on file.
- Prices may change over time. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change before it takes effect, and changes will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your subscription where required by law.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Scrape, copy, harvest, republish, resell, or redistribute our passages, questions, explanations, or other content, in whole or in part.
- Share your account or provide access to the Service to people who are not entitled to it.
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to manipulate the AI essay feedback system, for example by submitting content unrelated to practice or by trying to extract the underlying prompts or models.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service, or use automated systems to access it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
AI-generated essay feedback
Feedback on Section B essays is produced by an automated language-processing system operated on our behalf by third-party artificial intelligence service providers. To generate that feedback, the text of your essay is transmitted to and processed by those providers. This feedback is provided for practice guidance only. It may contain errors, omissions, or inconsistencies, and it may not reflect how a human examiner would assess your work.
We may change the providers or systems we use at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how essay text is handled.
AI feedback is not a guarantee of exam performance and should not be treated as authoritative marking, an official grade, or professional, academic, or legal advice. You should use your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek guidance from a qualified teacher or tutor.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, question bank, passages, explanations, and other materials, is owned by LNATpractice or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation, subject to these Terms.
You retain ownership of the essays and other original text you write on the Service. By submitting an essay, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit that text as needed to provide the Service to you — including sending it to our AI provider to generate feedback and retaining it so you can revisit it later. We do not claim ownership of your essays.
Service availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. The Service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control, and features may change over time.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the billing portal linked from your subscription settings. When you cancel, your subscription will not renew again, and you will keep Pro access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the billing period you are already in.
Once access to the digital service has begun, purchases are generally non-refundable, except:
- where a refund is required by applicable law;
- where LNATpractice expressly approves a refund; or
- where you qualify under the published LNATpractice Score Guarantee.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law. Those rights apply regardless of anything stated here.
Promotional codes, referral rewards, gifted access, and manually granted access have no cash value and are not refundable. A refund cannot be issued twice for the same payment, and you cannot receive both a chargeback and a refund for the same payment. Fraud, abuse, account sharing, automation, or manipulation of activity data may invalidate discretionary or guarantee-based refund eligibility.
If you think you have been charged in error, please contact us through the Support page.
LNATpractice Score Guarantee
The LNAT has no official universal pass or fail mark. Section A is reported as a raw mark out of 42, and each university decides for itself how to use it. We therefore do not — and cannot honestly — guarantee that you will “pass”. This guarantee is based on an eligible target score you select in advance.
This guarantee does not guarantee university admission. It concerns your LNAT score only. Admissions decisions are made solely by universities, using criteria of their own, and LNATpractice has no part in them. LNATpractice is not affiliated with or endorsed by the LNAT Consortium, Pearson VUE, or any university.
Eligible subscriptions
The guarantee is available on the Pro 3 Months and Pro Annual plans, purchased directly from LNATpractice and paid for in full. The free plan and the monthly plan are not eligible: a single month cannot contain the required study activity, and we will not sell a promise that cannot be met. Subscriptions that were gifted, manually granted, or otherwise obtained without a qualifying payment are not eligible, and neither is a payment that has already been refunded, disputed, reversed, or charged back.
Registering your target score
The guarantee is opt-in and administered by our team. To take part, contact us through the Support page and tell us the target score you are aiming for and the LNAT exam cycle you intend to sit. Your target score must be between 20 and 30 out of 42. We will confirm your registration in writing; if you have not received that confirmation, you are not registered.
You must register at least 30 days before your exam. Once confirmed, your target score is fixed and cannot be changed — a target chosen once you already know how prepared you feel is not a goal we can underwrite. Registrations received after the deadline, or after you have sat the exam, are not eligible.
Required study activity
To qualify, you must complete all of the following during the qualifying period:
- 24 qualifying study days, with at least 3 in each week.
- A day only counts as a qualifying day if you complete at least 10 meaningful questions and at least 10 minutes of meaningful study on that day.
- 500 meaningful practice questions in total.
- 30 passage-practice sets in total.
- 4 full mock examinations in total.
- 4 essay exercises in total, on plans where essay practice forms part of the guarantee.
Up to 14 missed days are permitted across the qualifying period.
What counts as meaningful use
Activity must represent a genuine attempt. Specifically, a question attempt only counts if you spent at least 10 seconds on it and selected an answer. The following do not count towards any requirement:
- opening a question and submitting it immediately, without time to read it;
- submitting blank answers;
- selecting answers rapidly at a speed that does not permit reading;
- opening a mock and finishing it without attempting it;
- repeating the same task purely to inflate counts;
- activity generated by automation, scripts, bots, or browser automation;
- activity generated through account sharing or answer-sharing systems.
We assess this from activity records the platform already keeps. We do not require device fingerprinting, and we do not store your IP address for the purposes of this guarantee. Where indicators suggest manipulation, a claim may be referred for manual review; sharing an internet connection with other users is not, by itself, grounds for rejection.
Requesting a refund under the guarantee
You must sit the official LNAT in the exam cycle you registered, and your official result must be below the target score you registered in advance. You may then request a refund through the Support page within 30 days of receiving your official result.
We may ask you to provide proof of your official LNAT result before we make a decision, and to confirm that what you have sent is genuine and accurate. We may also ask for additional information reasonably needed to assess the request. If we ask for proof and it is not provided, we cannot approve the request.
Our team will review your activity on the platform — the practice, passage sets, mocks, and essays recorded on your account — against the published requirements above, and will decide whether those requirements have been met. Requests are reviewed by a person, not decided automatically.
LNATpractice reviews the information you provide and the activity recorded on your account to determine whether the published requirements have been satisfied. A request may be declined where those published requirements are not met, where the proof provided is incomplete or invalid, or where fraud, manipulation, automation, account sharing, or other material breaches of these Terms are identified. We will tell you the reason for any decision to decline.
Any proof you send us is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We only ask for what we need to assess your request, and we keep it only as long as we reasonably need it to review the request, process any refund, prevent fraud, handle disputes, and meet our accounting and legal obligations.
Limits and refund method
Only one claim and one refundare permitted per person, account, payment identity, and payment-provider customer. The guarantee is personal to you and is not transferable. There is no cash alternative: an approved refund is returned as a refund of the original payment, to the original payment method, through our payment provider. Amounts are refunded in the currency originally charged; we are not responsible for differences arising from currency conversion or from your bank’s fees. Taxes are refunded in accordance with applicable law.
If you raise a chargeback for a payment, that payment is no longer eligible for a guarantee refund; you cannot receive both. Nothing in this section removes or limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Version and changes
These Score Guarantee Terms are version 1.0.0. We may change the guarantee, including its thresholds, for future purchases only. If we have already confirmed your registration, you are assessed against the version of these Score Guarantee Terms in force on the date of that confirmation — a later change cannot retroactively worsen your position. We will keep a record of the version that applies to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LNATpractice will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
The Service is a preparation tool. It does not guarantee any particular test score, admission outcome, or exam result, and your results depend on many factors outside our control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of LNATpractice is established. The operator will specify the governing jurisdiction and any applicable courts before production launch. This does not affect any mandatory rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.
